Summary

  1. We started the development of an Intelligent Database of Solar Events and Active Regions (IDSEAR) – a database which will contain and integrate various catalogs of the solar transient events, descriptors and data products of the active regions, and information about related observations.
  2. The database is properly designed and consists of three main logic blocks (entities) interacting with each other. The data from the previously-developed IMIDSF is transferred, the flare integration procedure is completed. The SHARP descriptors are loaded to the IDSEAR.
  3. The codes for various AR data products and descriptors are implemented and tested.

IDSEAR is a living project and will continue to be developed. In the future, we plan to handle comprehensive user queries, provide a multi-level access to data and metadata (including the unique data products and descriptors stored in the database) and increase number of supported sources and catalogs.
